GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: Marvel Reveal Official Toy Based On After-Credits Scene Star

Marvel and Funko teamed up to bring us the first official toy based on the Dancing Groot from Marvel and James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy's mid-credits scene, and now the star of the after-credits scene has also been given his very own toy! Hit the jump to check it out...

While it wasn't his big screen debut, Howard the Duck's appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy is sure to go down as one of the best Marvel cameos to date. Voiced by Seth Green (Family Guy) the fan favourite character is now getting his own toy courtesy of Funko. It was revealed late last week that the Dancing Groot would also be receiving the bobblehead treatment and you can take a look at that by clicking on the link below. Howard will likely be nearly as in demand as Groot, so good luck getting your hands on one when it eventually does go on sale. What do you think?

I would actually not mind at all if Howard played a role in GOTG2 (possibly as The Collector's new assistant). Banter between him, Rocket, and Cosmo would be a sight to see lol

Thankfully they didn't give him those nightmare inducing toes from the movie.

Isn't Mjolnir magic? Supes would get wrecked.

P.S. I'm joking, don't hurt me.

I say have Warlock join the team in the sequel and have the villains be Magus and the Universal Church of Truth.

Mjolnir is magical in the MCU? In the comics yes...don't know if they changed the MCU version to something more grounded. Anyway...wouldn't Superman be vulnerable to hits from mjolnir? Of course he would see Thor from a mile away and just blast him from far....lol Yay! Imaginary superhero fights! Time to play DC vs Marvel mugen style.

MOS Superman is more powerful than MCU Thor.

By a good margin.
BlackestNight

Superman would wreck Thor.

See...that's how much people don't care about Howard the Duck.

A few awesome pics of Supes and Thor, and that's what the thread is about now.

Just throwing this out there: Do you think that Angela would show up in GOTG 2 or Thor 4?

I am wandering why there is no love for Cosmo the space dog?? We must have a bobble head of Cosmo!

@Omarvls, Thor (and to a lesser extent, the Hulk) was depowered to even out the Avengers. Otherwise the Thor/Iron Man fight would have been over REAL fast.

Oh, and MCU Thor is "magic as science" so he wouldn't even have magic against MOS's Superman...
