When Guillermo Del Toro and Peter Jackson get the cameras rolling on "The Hobbit", we know Ian Holm wont be putting on the hairy feet again, but whos the best choice to play a younger version of the intrepid Bilbo Baggins?
According to slashfilm, three names are increasingly being rumored as options for Jackson and del Toro: Dr. Who’s David Tennant; Wanted’s James McAvoy; and Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe.

Peter Jackson will be at the San Diego Comic Con next week, leading to supposition that we’ll get an official casting announcement then. But what about these rumors? Personally i think they all suck! Radcliffe im actually not even going to comment on and treat as a joke. McAvoy is a talented actor, but he annoys me! I can't put my finger on it but he just has one of those faces..still, wouldn't be a complete disaster. I realize Tenannt is very popular as Dr Who and has a huge fan base. I just can't see it. The guy brings over acting to a new stratosphere. When i see him raise that eyebrow until its almost vertical on his head i reach for something to throw at the tv.
Anyway! Rant over. I'm sure these choices may go down a lot better with many of you, that's just my take on it.
