Bleeding Cool are reporting that sometime MMA fighter/sometime ex of Jordan(Katie Price) might be researching a role in the new GI Joe movie, Retaliation..
Now, Alex Reid, the sometime companion of Katy Price and current showbeau of Big Brother fraudster Chantelle Houghton, has recently stopped by a London comic book shop and loaded up with lots and lots of GI Joe comic books. This is, of course, while casting is ongoing for the new film, GI Joe: Retaliation.
They are awaiting a reply from Reid's reps. Those outside of the UK may not have heard of Reid. As I mentioned he dabbled in MMA, briefly became a media darling after winning Celebrity Big Brother, had his own reality show following that. This sort of thing happens from time to time. Remember all the fuss over Eva Longoria buying those Avengers comics? Or Katie Sackhoff and her Daredevil shopping spree? No doubt these people were interested in roles, as Sackhoff recently confirmed, but it doesn't for one second mean they are actually being considered for one. That being said it wouldn't be too surprising if Reid was being considered for some kind of "token British Joe" role. I can't imagine they are being too fussy with their casting. They asked Channing Tatum back after all.
