It has already been revealed that the entire 3,600 Green Lantern Corps members who patrol the similarly numbered sectors of the universe will cameo in next summer's live action superhero adaptation, Green Lantern. To top it off, at least two dozen alien Lanterns will have center stage roles. Here's a first look a several that could be a part of that group:

I LOVE the Boodika design.

I like the rest of them except for Salakk and Galius Zed. Salakk has to long of legs and arms arms and head look wierd on galius.

You know, it's sort of strange that everyone is worried about The Avengers being overcrowded but nobody has voiced any concerns about dozens of Green Lanterns overpopulating The GL film.

First time posting, 40 year GL fan.

I like the photos, the only thing I don't like is how long Salaak's legs are, but I can live with it.

Also I always wondered about Rot Lop Fan, if his race is blind, why does it matter what symbol appears on his uniform?? Everyone else in his sector he meets needs to know him as a Green Lantern. Just my opening thoughts.

@Logan—welcome, brother. the thought crossed my mind a decade or two ago, also... i reassured myself that it made sense by concluding that since the uniform is itself a ring construct, it is imagined by the ring-bearer himself... and since Fan does not have the ability to conceive of "green" or "lantern" even in a theoretical sense, the ring simply can't find the image in his imagination. NOW... the real question is, how does it know what a BELL LOOKS LIKE??? :) (lol i guess we have to stop somewhere!)

@hawksblueyes—good point... but personally, my fear about avengers (and i've been one of the ones screaming "overcrowded" the loudest...) is not the NUMBER of characters but the strength of their PERSONALITIES. but i've always felt that way about the Avengers—the three main guys are all "super strength" guys and all are alpha-leader types. (JLA, by contrast, has a mix of roles within the group... imo...) as for the GLC, i doubt many of these guys will play major roles except for tomar-re and sinestro... even kilowog is an oa-only character.
