As you can see the mag also suggests that more characters will be "unveiled". There is a good chance we could see more new shots of Hal's GL CORPS buddies within the pages.

Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Tim Robbins and Angela Bassett. It's directed by Martin Campbell and due to hit theaters June 17th.

hey, even the MASK looks like it's starting to come together... it's a better shape and it obviously has some thickness to it. i knew the cgi in the trailer wasn't finished but i think they rushed it even more than i'd realized before... i mean, everything SINCE the trailer has looked better THAN the trailer! i'm feeling more and more confident now...

The CGI isn't what bothered me about the trailer. It was the silly dialog and last bit in the apartment that belonged in an American Pie movie. I thought everything else looked great!

From all I've seen and heard, I feel confient that this movie will be the truest interpretation of 40 years of Green Lantern comics.

AWESOME!

I've always said it's gonna be great, this time it looks even greater!

The costume seems to improve in some ways, can't wait to see the complete one...

I have faith in this, GL won't disappoint his big fan!

Great find @ROR!

@LEEE yes indeed it looks better than spidey!

The mask still looks like a cartoon to me, but I agree with Ror...I was way more put off by the adolescent tone of the trailer as opposed to the effects.

@Tea Spank me indeed! Guess where my gif went Tea! =P

Anyways, for me this is the ultimate Green Lantern costume. If he was real, this is exactly how it would look like. The mask looks gorgeous.

Mask looks great. Nice shape and contours, more defined. I also like how the eyes have a white glaze over them, hinting at the totally white eyes from the comics. I am cautiously optimistic about this film. With Martin Campbell at the helm, seems like a pretty safe bet that it's gonna be awesome, but only time will tell.

For the people who think that Green Lantern's costume looks fake, dont you think it purposely looks that way because of it being a mental construct from the ring itself? just saying. lol.

I was always for a CGI costume as, as you say, it is a ring construct.. however crappy cgi is still crappy cgi.. if the floating hands and such look good why cant the suit also look good

See now i agree with a few of you on here, if they had focused on a similar "grittiness" and seriousness to this picture for their trailer, instead of giving us the campy/cartoony trailer we saw, it would have definitely given the majority of us a way better opinion of the film. Just saying. It's all about marketing. No comic book fan wants to go see a comedy/mockery of their comic book characters. I think The Dark Knight's numbers have proved that. It doesn't mean every superhero movie should be "dark", but it damn well means that it should be taken seriously. Hense why there are more fanboys praising Thor's trailer than there are for GL's. Had they shown us a trailer as serious as the fan made Nathan Fillion one, we would all be drooling.
