Street Date For IRON MAN 3 Blu-Ray And DVD Release Now Online

While no special features have been confirmed yet, we now have a possible release date for the home video release of Marvel Studios' highly successful blockbuster Iron Man 3. Find out when the threequel hits DVD and Blu-Ray after the jump.

Having surpassed the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office earlier this week, Marvel's Iron Man 3 is already one of the highest grossing films of all time, and it wouldn't be surprising if it's #1 for the year. Now, we have a potential release date set for the Blu-Ray and DVD release. According to Screen Crush, Iron Man 3 will be making its way to home video on August 27th. This is noticeably earlier than home release debuts of the first two Iron Man installments and Marvel's The Avengers, as all three hit shelves in September of their respective years. We don't have the cover art or bonus features for Iron Man 3 just yet, but the latter might consist of a short film featuring footage from the Chinese version of the threequel. Biggest let down to date from a cbm. I honestly liked the whole Mandarin and extrimis stuff....it was everything else that made the movie complete shit.

Anybody who posts on any Comic Book or CBM site like this or elsewhere is clearly a fanboy & I find it absolutely pointless & redundant trying to use it as an insult or put down to people that complain about things such as the Mandarin twist or anything else from the comics or movies for that matter. first day purchase for me,a good movie apart from the twist.

iron man 3 current box office gross $1,073,273,000,that's surpass the dark knight & will definitely fly by the dark knight rises(11 million difference).

iron man 3 the second highest grossing comic book movie ever,a good start to phase 2.

Cool, bit earlier than usual but that's not a bad thing - unless they skimp out on the special features, commentaries, etc, like they did with the UK release of The Avengers blu ray.
