JUSTICE LEAGUE Director Zack Snyder Shares Physical Evidence That The "Snyder Cut" Exists

Well, unless Zack Snyder is trolling us, it's pretty hard to argue with this! Amid the ongoing back-and-forth "Snyder Cut" debate, the Justice League director has shared physical evidence of its existence.

Zack Snyder has been sharing photos from the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League to his Vero account for quite a while now, but his latest post offers the most compelling evidence for the existence of the director's original version of the DC Comics movie yet.

The image shows film canisters marked "JL Directors Cut; Running Time: 214" along with the caption, "Is it real? Does it exist? Of course it does."

This update comes after a recent trade report called the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement a "pipe dream." Snyder followed up the post by revealing that he shared the pic because he was "tired of people saying it's not real."

Again, unless Snyder is simply trying to keep his fans' optimism alive with a fake image (unlikely), this is difficult to dispute. Are we close to an official announcement regarding the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League? Stay tuned!

@GaryJo - If the Snyder Cut truly exists in final form then the studio would have released it for streaming as it would have cost them no additional money and they could have recouped some of their losses.

@JonC - i don't consider an early "director's cut" to be anywhere near a finished movie... it is a "work in process" to evaluate internally until final CGI, etc can be added in.

@GaryJo @JonC -
This picture tells us absolutely nothing we didn't already know. Zack Snyder has a copy of the Snyder Cut. We already knew this.

The problem is that it's confirmed to be an unfinished rough cut that would cost millions to complete. Justice League FLOPPED and the studio lost over $60 million making it. Nobody is wasting more resources into completing and releasing this thing. Hollywood is a business, not a charity. Studios are corporations that exist only to make money and for no other reason.

At this point, Zack Snyder is literally trolling just to get his fanbase fired up. Notice how all of his statements are vague, never confirm anything, and always come after someone says that people should move on (in this case, Joe Manganiello and Henry Cavill).

The Snyder Cut is a pipe dream. I'm surprised WB hasn't sued Snyder for this by now. If something substantial existed, Zack Snyder would come out and lay it down straight instead of playing games with his fans.

@JonC - Exactly.

I think people are getting the terms "Directors Cut" and "Workprint Cut" mixed up. I believe Snyder has a "Workprint cut", which is a rough version of the movie he shot and edited. A workprint has incomplete cgi, lots of wires, several alternates, and storyboard inserts to make up for an incomplete film. People are confusing a “workprint cut” with a “directors cut” because Zack Snyder doesn’t consider the “theatrical cut” his film. Therefore he is calling a “workpring cut” a “directors cut” when in reality they are not the same thing.

These are pictures of the leaked “workprint cut” of wolverine origins vs the “completed directors cut” of the same film. Back in the day I have seen the workprint cuts of Halloween (2007), Wolverine Origins, & Expendables 3 when they were sold off the market. I also saw all 3 of those movies in theaters and can confirm that the workprint cut and completed cut are significantly different.

@JonC - An equally plausible explanation could be that if the released Snyder cut turns out to be substantially better than the theatrical version then some execs at WB will be out of a job. It is a no win situation for them.
