John Arturo - When did you start collecting and how did you get into the hobby?
Jason Haftar - Well I started when I was five with He-Man figures, G I Joe, and Transformers, then moved up to comics.
John Arturo - You collection is all over the board and doesn't just hit one character or universe.
Jason Haftar - Well first off, it is what I like and things I am interested in. I love both Marvel and DC, and also Dark Horse. These are the characters I relate too, and that i grew up on.
John Arturo - Do you collect anything else?
Jason Haftar - Yes I collect the things I like, but want things no one else has. I like to have a variety of things. I have friends find me things when their on trips, stuff that is unique to my collection. I want a little of everything, just stuff that I love.
John Arturo - What are your favorite collectible companies?
Jason Haftar - Dc, Marvel, Dc Direct, Diamond, anything that I like.
John Arturo - What is your favorite part of collecting?
Jason Haftar - The hunting down at stores, hey you can get most things online, but it can make you feel really good when you find it in a store and you can share it with someone.
John Arturo - What is the key thing you look for in an item you want to add to your collection?
Jason Haftar - It has got to be something I am interested in, something unique, and something that I really want to add and showcase.
John Arturo - What is your favorite movie?
Jason Haftar - Well that is a really hard question. I have so many favs. I guess you could really say, superhero movies are number one, then Vampire/Werewolves movies, and then just good all round action movies. I have a big a collection so it is hard for me to decide, since I own all the movies I love.
John Arturo - What is your favorite piece from your collection?
Jason Haftar - All my Superman stuff, cause I relate to him the most.
John Arturo - What are some items you are most looking forward to adding to your collection?
Jason Haftar - Well I want to add the Superman Family Statues and Batman Family Statues too and all the new things that I see and love. That is a hard question for someone that has many characters that he can relate too. There are way too many nice things that are coming out, and having CBM to showcase it really makes you think about what you want to add to your collection.
John Arturo - Finally, what is your favorite aspect of ComicBookMovie.com?
Jason Haftar - Well this is one of the best websites. First I started as a lurker, then moved on to being someone that checked everyday, then to starting my own account. For someone like me it has it all, a one stop shop. I love reading about the collectors, but also the rumors about new movies, the editorials from Ror Machine, the polls are amazing. This site has it all. But the best is being able to watch the trailers first on here for any comic book movies, and the info that goes with it.
