The world’s least reliable news source, The Sun, is making claim that both Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill will be supplied with a top nutritionist and fitness trainers in order to be in fighting shape for Star Wars Episode VII.

According to “a source” the duo need to be as close to their appearance in the earlier movies as possible and the producers are keen to help them out and offer their support. The other major returning star, Harrison Ford, apparently will not require the same treatment before he reprises the role of Han Solo due to keeping in great shape for the lost thirty odd years.

Though The Sun is not exactly known for its journalistic accuracy, it’s reasonable to assume Disney and Lucasfilm would want their returning cast in shape when filming beings early 2014. Check out how Hamill, Fisher and Ford looking these days in the pictures below.

As a huge Star Wars fan I really don't feel that excited for this movie. I really want a Darth Bane or an Old Republic era movie.

If this getting back into shape thing doesn't work out they could just make their characters into CGI ghosts. Well maybe not Harrison Ford or Carrie Fisher since they're not Jedis but it looks like they can get back into shape easier than Mark Hamill.

We will now get a teen fit old Luke and a possibly buff Han, and a possibly fit and sexy old Leia.

@WhiteSAMURAI22 I think Leia was actually a Jedi too...there were lots of references too her having force powers...maybe she will use the force.....

In shape or not Harrison Ford has alwways had large fat deposits on his face. He needs some face lipo big time.

Theres no need for any of this. It just dumps on the original trilogy by showing the big 3 old and then eventually dying.

They shouldve remade all 6 Lucas films or set the sequels hundreds of years after ROTJ.

Maybe hundreds of years later the Jedi and Sith and the Force are believed to be old myths like our Greek and Biblical myths. While in our world all religion has been dis-proven in that Galaxy maybe people begin discovering that their myths were actually real.

@ibravosp5 I wouldn't doubt it. It's probably explained in the expansive universe but I haven't read much of those.

Carrie Fisher's voice is shot. I can't see them getting that under control any time soon... among other things.

Anyway, wonder if they gonna sign the same type of contract that Russell Crowe signed for MOS. He was allowed only to eat the stuff WB gave him.
