Has Aunt May Been Cast For The Spider-Man Reboot?

Scifi Mania reports that Sony has made an 'undisclosed' choice to play Aunt May in the Spider-Man reboot!

Inside Scifi Mania's article regarding the rumor of Christoph Waltz being considered for the villain in the Spider-Man reboot (The Lizard?), they also mention something just as interesting.

It seems that they claim Production Weekly, along with mentioning Waltz being considered for the villain role, also states that an undisclosed choice for Aunt May has been made.

If this is true, I wonder how long it will be until word starts going around the internet about who this actress is.

It is rumored that the entire cast for the Spider-Man reboot may be revealed at the NYC Comic-Con. But we dont know that for certain...

Spider-Man will be released on July 3, 2012, starring Andrew Garfield. The film will be directed by Marc Webb.

God I still hate Garfield as Spidey... I just cant see him as our Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. But Aki has a good point, she would actually fit perfectly, or how bout... BETTY WHITE!!! :)

i hate to say it but helen mirren wouldnt fit into the budget. she is too high profile of an actress. besides hopefully not a whole lot of screentime for aunt may this time. i seriously hope they get a big name for jj jameson though.i think ed harris would do great with the role.
