An actress Jamie Jones (presummebly an extra) spills a few details regarding Electro's look in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2', such as silver blue eyes, as well as shares her experience seeing Jamie Foxx on the set.

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Other words it's realistic and grounded crap once again. Trying to make CBM feel closer to reality so people can actually relate to them, yeah yeah go on.

@JackyLegacy- Even by comic book standards Electro's costume is goofy. He looks like a basketball mascot.

Electro's costume goofy, oh really? So your telling me there should be only one goofy character in the film wearing a goofy skin tight outfit that looks straight from the comics LOL. I don't see whats the problem with Electro's costume if they already got Spider-Man's own costume down already. I am come on seriously even Captain America's costume and they got it down too in two films. Why the hell you need a grounded universe when the origins of the character is no where close to reality. Keep reality out of comic book films, I like reality right here where it should be.

Who said this new take on the Spider-Man movies were realistic and grounded ? I never thought one second it looked realistic or grounded everytime I watched it.

It seems to me it's only the haters who like to say "they went for a realistic take on it and it failed miserably ! HAHA !" No. Because the Batman before it was realistic and grounded does not mean every superhero movie after it will be the same.

Some of you are nucking futs.

In John Byrne's Spider-man Chapter One, electro has a blue and white(guess it could have been silver) costume.

I reserve judgement BUT I'm still not like him in the part, why changing the race character just for the sake of it ???

hopefully the movie will be good ( I think it will) but I just don't like him at all....

This is your comic book page where colour is important. If green and yellow is used, who is to say it's the brighter versions used in the comic, and upon the same suit. It's called adaptation, and the fact that there is some similarity is great. Look at Spider-Man 2, Doc Oc wore a green jacket, and that was perfect. Green and yellow clothing in any department isn't alien, anyway. people wear green and yellow, people, SHOCKER! Imagine Superman was bright blue and red like Christopher Reeves, and not the darkened versions we'll see in Man of Steel. Who knows who has manufactured the material Electro uses. Laboratory equipment and suiting isn't designed to blend into the public. So of course it will look odd. In Electro's case, the suit may very well be part of what he's doing, one way or another. If an astronaut walked down the street, you'd think him odd dressed in a space suit, but when he's walking on the moon he looks totally normal. It's not fashion, it's science!

what foxpaw said. and what alexde posted, esp that first pic. light garfield up.

that's the first image that made me want to buy foxx as electro. have to burn that image into my mind to get rid of the decades of electro being a twerpy white dude.
