After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only “meta-human” who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion — and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become…The Flash.

Is the grinning teenagers comment necessary? It comes across as a pretty snarky judgement for a show that hasn't even come out yet. Besides, Cisco is the only one who smiles.

Seriously though, I've seen the pilot.

Can't see mainstream audiences really going crazy about this. Might get a second season but nothing beyond that.

'Inside your body could be a map to a whole new world...'

Everyone keeps assuming this means the multiverse...I think that's bullocks...I more believe he means unlocking mutagenes and superpowers...as in a whole new world for humans!!!

Not the multiverse...

Anyway rant over...cannot wait for this!

If anything, CW has proved that it's shows will last much longer than people expect. This show will last longer than 2 seasons. That's just hysterical.

Looks interesting,hopefully if it last as long as Smallville it doesn't get as convoluted as that show did.

And did anyone think of the Speed Force part of the multiverse when they said that inside his body could be the key to a whole new world?

This looks like a fun show to watch every week.
I remember watching the old flash show with the Dawson's Creek dad.
Bad special effects and a bulky fuzzy red Flash costume.
Just be glad there's a new superhero show and not another vampire/werewolf cluster-cuss for teens.

You think that's BULLOCKS? What like big cows? You mean BOLLOCKS...as in testicles. It's a British saying.
SuperSomething616
SuperSomething616 - 9/16/2014, 6:37 AM
@nikgrid - Yes I meant bollocks...it was a spelling mistake so sue me...and yes I fully aware it is a British saying...cause I'm British...
