Watchmen tv spot # 9, one thing's for sure, if you have not seen a Watchmen tv spot actully on tv then you either A: Don't get them in your country, or B: You don't own a TV! Yesterday my Grandmother asked me if I had heard of Watchmen! LOL! I mean the people involved with the marketing campaign for Watchmen are hitting it harder than anything in a long time, maybe even ever. You can look at this marketing blitzkrieg one of two ways: They are putting to much out there & overdoing it...or that this marketing campaign is/was amazing, set the bar high for Viral marketing & let's face it we live in a time where people have short attention spans so maybe by craming (a milli,a milli) a million trailers/tv spots/clips & having a billion different posters and shit like Nite Owl coffee & Dr.Blue balls condoms is a good thing, very strategic imo, curiosity killed the cat when people see something everywhere and they don't know what it is, they feel left out, like they don't know something that everyone else is already hip too, most people get interested & want to find out more. IMO this film is going to put up big-time numbers...top 10 of all time numbers.
University of Minnesota physics professor James Kakalios discusses how he was tapped to add a physics perspective to the upcoming Warner Brothers movie, Watchmen. Kakalios discusses how quantum mechanics can explain Dr. Manhattan's super human powers in the film, and how he came to become an expert on the topic of the physics of superheroes.
