While accepting the award for Best Character at the Spike TV Video Game Awards, the Joker -from Batman: Arkham City - was seen holding a script for Batman: Arkham World and made a joke about spoilers. Now Rocksteady has not confirmed Batman: Arkham World, so take this with a grain of salt.

I think that depending on sales, it is very likely Rocksteady will make another Arkham game. I hope they get hired to do Man of Steel if Warner has the game rights back from EA, but Batman: Arkham (subtitle needed) is all but guaranteed.

i think it'd be awesome if they actually did throw the actual title in there. ...shows how much Rocksteady likes giving hints for Batman to rise up the anticipation. lol

this is obviously a joke. Arkham World would make no sense, the character is called the Joker, also he's dead so why would he have a script for the next game? Another sequel is almost guaranteed, but don't expect any info yet, apart from the in game easter eggs.

Arkham World is mentioned repeatedily by various thugs on the street in Arkham City.

i was think Arkham County, just be a huge ass arkham city with multiple small comunities owned by the gangs, or arkham spark em: Batman across the 4th dimension

I definitely believe this is a hint to the new game. But I doubt it would be the title to it. Remember the past VGA's have showcased teasers towards the new Batman games from Rocksteady.

And based on sales alone and the fact that Batman AC is the best reviewed game of this year a sequel is inevitable. I wont be surprised if we get some sort of confirmation by next years VGA's.

I think the next game should be called "Batman: Gotham Asylum." I think it could work. From AA to AC the world got bigger and batman expanded his arsenal so if all the criminals in Gotham City just broke loose and started a big riot turning the city into an insane asylum Batman would have to work hard at saving the whole city and of course joker will still be alive by the end of the game and would be the cause behind the city going crazed. Also since batman can't save a whole city by himself they could incorporate nightwing and robin in this one a little better. It will also "fulfill" the prophecy that Azreal talk about with the city burning.

gotham city should be an RPG where you start as bruce wayne and earn XP towards becoming the bat, the world needs a good batman RPG

there is gonna be another game no doubt. it's too huge and too great not keep it up. i would expect them to keep with the arkham name. and joker is dead...for now...arkam city did reveal to the bat and joker the presense of the lazarus pit...joker mite make a comeback crazier then anyone expected.

A sequel is coming. Arkham City is easily the best Batman game I've ever played. Wish I could have played as Nightwing or Robin in story mode. Hopefully that feature will be added in the next one. I can't help feeling that Batman somehow resurrected Talia using the Lazarus pit, even though it wasn't shown. I thought she had an interesting role in the game, as I never expected her to make an appearance. Hoping she has a similar role in TDKR, without dying of course. Loved playing as Catwoman. Not as fun as being Batman but enjoyable nonetheless. Honestly though, I have to wonder what the story of the next game will be, especially since Joker is dead. Or is he?

There should be an option to drive around the city in the Batmobile/Tumbler in the next game. Anyone remember the classic Batman and Robin game for PSOne?
