Megan Fox recently had an interview with The Times were she is quoted
as saying :

"Wonder Woman is a lame superhero," Fox told the paper. "She flies around in her invisible jet and her weaponry is a lasso that makes you tell the truth. I just don't get it. Somebody has a big challenge on their hands whoever takes that role but I don't want to do it."

Fox reportedly turned down the chance to take over from [Angelina] Jolie (the two are strikingly similar, down to their mutual love of tattoos) as Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider series."

Well, at least she was honest and is not just doing it for the money. With Fox out of the way for these two parts it opens them up to actresses that actually care about the roles. That's who we want to fill Wonder Women's invisible jet with, and Lara Croft's umm, well, ya know.

I know I'm gonna get my ass kicked for this(especially from KeepItReal) but I agree with Meagan. The invisible jet thing really kills this character for me, among other things. While I don't have the same distaste for WW as I do for Supes(Supes is the shittiest most terribly concieved character in mainstream comics, hands down) Some of her accessories make it hard for me to take her seriously. Don't get me wrong, I have a level of respect for the character, especially when she snapped Maxwell Lord's neck(I think that's who it was) That is one of the best spreads in all of comics to me, but some things about the character just make me roll my eyes. KeepItReal... please be gentle... I was just trying to keep it real ;P

Another thing, It's retarded to hate on anyone based on their personal opinion of a certain comic character. If anything, we should all have a deeper respect for Ms. Fox. Why? We all know that a large paycheck and lots of fame is involved with whoever takes on this character, the fact that she turned it down based on the fact she doesn't feel she could portray the character correctly and passing up on the benefits speaks well for her as an actress and comic fan.

@KeepItReal: Storm whipped WW's ass in Amalgam. What you think about that! nyah ;P

The most frequently used object is the Invisible Plane which she uses to travel places in fast time. It's hardly used during the Post-Crisis times.


Wonder Woman has gotten alot cooler then she was back in the day, with better stories too.

How sad is it that, no matter what, whoever they cast for Black Cat, she's STILL going to be 100% more attractive than (The world renowned super model...) Mary Jane/Dunst?! Boggles the mind.

I think Jessica Biel would make a perfect Wonder Woman, and I kind of like Fox for Lara Croft, she fits.

"Bracelets of Victory"
These are a pair of steel cuffs which are indestructible because they were used from the remains of the Aegis shield and were modeled after the cuffs which they were once enslaved in. They are even able to deflect Darkseid's energy attacks. Wonder Woman can use her super reflexes to deflect projectiles, punches, blades, or any sort of flying offensive object. She can also use them to deflect the object back into her enemies


"Lasso of Truth"
The Lasso of Truth, explained by its name, forces people to tell the truth (perhaps influenced by her creator, who created the polygraph), by the Fires of Hestia and forged by Hephaestus from the Golden Girdle of Gaea that Antiope once wore. It is able to restore people's lost memories, get rid of illusions, heal the holder's body (in this case, Wonder Woman), cure insanity and people who are in its circumference will be protected from magical attacks. It is unbreakable, being able to hold anybody, even someone with the physical strength equivalent to Superman.

Jodie Lynn is a good choice and a very good actress. Wouldn't mind seeing here as WW

She thinks WW is lame, but she can't act for to save her life, she's just gotten lucky all because of her looks. When you get deep down to it, WW is awesome. As for Jodi she would be great for WW, and Ali would be great for the black cat, awesome art work SHAMAN, and really good picks for the part.

I'm not into the whole acting thing SUPERMIKE ... but She's there and I'm here so I can't really down her success ... that said, have you really paid attention to her movies, she's horrible, she has the looks yes, but the talent I don't think so, her looks got her there that's all ... she was at the right place at the right time.

They just need to retro fit WW, custom is about two decades late. As to the invisible jet, if you look at old comics, WW couldn't fly. Well now, they took the liberty of giving her the ability of flight.
