With the news that Loki is possibly going to be the villain in Joss Whedon - directed big screen adaptation of The Avengers, here is another cool info regarding the trailer that could surprise the fans while attending the screening of Thor or Captain America: The First Avenger.

From AICN:

"I got word that MARVEL has shot a specific teaser trailer for THE AVENGERS - and that LOKI is featured in that teaser trailer. Makes total sense. I imagine that will either be on THOR or CAP...or Both if they're smart..."


This would be great, ha? Hopefully we will get the confirmation soon.

The Avengers is set to hit theatres on May 4, 2012!

i can see it being in front of captain america because thats the last film before the avengers.

how i would do the teaser,is have the voice over by samual l jackson.

then i would show scenes from each movie for example.

iron man walking away from tank blowing up in background.

thor vs loki footage.

the hulk on the campus when he leaps out of libary window.

black widow fight scene from iron man 2.

captain america footage

hawkeye footage

maybe not in that order but something like that would be epic.

They didn't start shooting The Avengers. If it's true, they shot it just with Loki and only for the trailer.

i haven't got any editing skills to do it myself.

i thought a montage of old clips would cool because of trying to appeal to non comic fans.

you know like it showing all these heroes that you've already seen in there own movies are now coming together for one big movie.

Since Cap is the final movie before Avengers, it would make sense to have it on that one if they're only doing one. This is post Thor, so it might be a little bit awkward showing off Loki as the big villain before the audience gets to know him and sees his transformation.
I would put this in front of Thor.

it would most likely just be a trailer like the one with sam jackson but with loki voicing it instead. They havent been shooting yet.

so if loki is going to manipulate hulk and whatnot as the plot of the avengers, there has also got to be some sort of set up for the next few movies right? What would that be? Maybe something for Iron Man 3?

Marvel72- You're just thankful that the Justice League film is not coming out. Because you know it would wipe the floor of the Avengers. Superman and Batman alone are bigger than the Avengers. I actually hope Avengers does great so WB could actually be interested in making a Justice League film.

If its true. They'd figure Thor leads into Cap. Thor's gonna be a big hit. (obviously) And everyone goes rah-rah after the 4th, goes to see it and has Loki fresh in their mind from the awesome flick they saw two months prior.MInds blown, let the hype commence for a year after Cap kocks it out of the park too.
