CAPTAIN MARVEL Star Brie Larson Says Carol Danvers Can "Definitely" Lift Thor's Hammer Mjolnir

We've heard on multiple occasions that Captain Marvel will be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most powerful superhero, but can she lift Mjolnir? Well, Brie Larson certainly seems to think so! Check it out.

Carol Danvers will make her big screen debut in Captain Marvel next March and she will then join the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers: Endgame. Based on everything Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has said about the hero in the past, she will be even more powerful than Thor, but does that mean she can lift the God of Thunder's hammer?

Well, during a recent interview, Larson was asked if she thinks Captain Marvel is "worthy" to wield Mjolnir and replied with a rather confident, "Definitely."

It's worth noting, of course, that Mjolnir was destroyed in Thor: Ragnarok but that doesn't mean the Captain couldn't use Stormbreaker against Thanos when they inevitably come to blows in the Avengers: Infinity War sequel next year.

Most fans are hoping that Captain America will pick up the hammer after that Avengers: Age of Ultron tease but we'll have to wait and see. What do you guys think of Larson's remarks?

Kevin Feige has said that Captain Marvel is the MCU's most powerful superhero and we're treated to a taste of that here as Carol Danvers seemingly goes full Binary in this gorgeous shot.

A great look at Carol using her powers, something tells me that the Kree may have found a way from stopping her fully unleashing her awesome abilities or simply don't know how strong she is.

This is a cool superhero entrance for Carol but even more interesting for fans is seeing how her helmet works and the way it creates that mohawk comic fans will be all too familiar with.

Brie Larson wants Carol Danvers to be inspirational to young girls and something tells me that will most definitely be the case when Captain Marvel blasts into theaters next March.

We still don't know how or why Carol ends up changing the colour scheme of her costume but damn, it looks cool! Here, she can be seen unleashing her powers on some Kree foot soldiers.

Amazing, right? This costume looks even better than most of us hoped and if this still isn't enough to sell you on the movie, then Marvel Studios should probably just give up right now.

What an incredible shot. While there's a lot of VFX on display here, that's never been an area which has posed a problem for Marvel Studios and you can bet your life Carol will look great in action.

A fun sequence showing the dynamic between Carol and Nick Fury, the signs are pointing to the future S.H.I.E.L.D. agent having a sizeable role in this movie as we learn his origin story too.
