Warner Bros. Entertainment, Warner Bros. Pictures Group, Big Moose Llc., DC Comics and South Bay EFX Inc have all found themselves as defendants in a lawsuit claiming negligence, peculiar risk, ultrahazardous activity and loss of consortium.

Special effects worker John Franco filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court Wednesday citing an incident that allegedly took place on the Louisiana set of Green Lantern. There are few details at this point but Franco claims he has suffered internal and external injuries and pain, along with a host of other things due to the incident.

Directed by Martin Cambell Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern, Blake Lively as Carol Ferris, Peter Sarsgaard as Hector Hammond and Mark Strong as Sinestro is slated for release here in the state on June 17th.

Get over it dude your getting paid thousands of dollars for your work. Thats more than I get paid. You should have spoken up when the accident happened. What happened did you get a hand cramp from sitting at your computer for hours on end making digital effects?

I'd say it's his own fault for whatever "accident" he was involved in. Can't sue WB for every little thing.

LAME. I can't wait to see this movie. It's going to be the biggest movie this summer. All you cynical bastards that hate on a movie you've never seen can suck it or get a life.

Wow, four people made almost the exact same joke. Can't believe how people are still so dead set against this movie even after that new footage.

Back to the story, though. Its kind of difficult to make a good comment seeing as we know next to nothing.

@ironknight, the best part is none of their jokes were funny either. If 10 people come up with the same joke, that's not good lol. Uncreative bunch.

@tea,
Reminds of something I found awhile back. It was a mispelling of GL on an Indian news site, they called it "Greek Lantern", which inspired this:
In Brightest day,
In Blackest night,
Souvlaki must be cooked just right
Some calamari, have a bite
beware Greek Lantern's
Appetite!

Yeah, I don't care what all the fanboys say, Green Lantern's costume still looks like a damn cartoon. Everything else looks good, but the Green Lantern suit sucks something bad.

you guys need to seriously STFU!

I worked GL and that guy was an amazing dude and a standup hard worker. He did Physical Special effects... not CG artist and was injured very badly on set and hospitalized for months... learn the difference between VFX and CG... and badmouthing someone who was critically injured is seriously f*cked up... even for CBM trolls...
