Green Lantern Effects Worker Hits Warner Bros. With Lawsuit

Warner Bros. and other companies involved with Green Lantern are hit with a lawsuit filed by a special effects worker involved with the film.

Warner Bros. Entertainment, Warner Bros. Pictures Group, Big Moose Llc., DC Comics and South Bay EFX Inc have all found themselves as defendants in a lawsuit claiming negligence, peculiar risk, ultrahazardous activity and loss of consortium.

Special effects worker John Franco filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court Wednesday citing an incident that allegedly took place on the Louisiana set of Green Lantern. There are few details at this point but Franco claims he has suffered internal and external injuries and pain, along with a host of other things due to the incident.

Directed by Martin Cambell Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern, Blake Lively as Carol Ferris, Peter Sarsgaard as Hector Hammond and Mark Strong as Sinestro is slated for release here in the state on June 17th.
