I don't know if it means the same in Portuguese, but in Spanish Pingo Doce means Penis Twelve.

An easter egg found just a few days into shooting...

That's got to be a new record, right?

Woo Hoo! First the "Put a gun in my mouth" comment from Bruce in Avengers then this! TIH is a freaking great film. I'm oddly looking forward to Ant-Man, cast is excellent and it's obvious they're trying to fix this seemingly hopeless movie.

@Enki

In Portuguese it means "Sweet Drop"

DrKinsolving, the references to the movie in Avengers weren't enough? Or its inclusion in the phase 1 bix set? The throwaway reference to a throwaway product convinced you?

Box set.

You wouldn't like me when I'm hungry.

Pingo Doce is a supermarket chain in Portugal, it sorta translates as sweets.

@ruadh

Haha, I know about about the references, and I loved their inclusion in the Avengers....

but the change in actor and the total reboot of the character for the Avengers (for the better I should add, Ruffalo is awesome in the role, and the look and feel of the Hulk in the Avengers was awesome....) but since it was so long ago it makes me forget about the movie.... I did like the Incredible Hulk though, and I'm hoping we get an announcement for a Hulk stand alone movie soon

So this has me curious about the time line of this movie... Hank Pym takes place in the '60's. That explains why we'll see Howard Stark and co. from Captain America. BUT, since this movie has been in the works since '08, that makes me think that the original script took place during IM/TIH simultaneously. So in this new script, they've made the story take place in present day, with flashbacks to 2008 and the '60's. Are they trying to integrate Ant-Man faster by doing flashbacks so that by time for Avengers 3, or even possibly a quick scene in Avengers 2, he'll be an already established hero? I like that idea.

Nice little hidden nod at TIH. I guess Marvel really does care about that film. Anyway, will this film be set in present day? Or will it be around the time of TIH? Meh, it'll probably be present day...

considering how bad Marvel Studios wants to erase "The Incredible Hulk" and Hulk-Norton from our minds, I think this is surprising.

DrKinsolving, so then does iron man no longer fit since they recast Rhodey?

Either way, it clearly was not a total reboot of the character, just a recasting. That movie is still a set up for the character in avengers.

YES! I cheer every time there is any kind of connection/reference to anything from The Incredible Hulk, the most forgotten/looked over film in the MCU.

To re-work a great quote of Sam Jackson from Pulp Fiction

"What happened here was The Incredible Hulk and I want you to f*cking acknowledge it!"
