We have a brief update here from comic writer and Fox Creative Consultant (Fantastic Four and X-Men) Mark Millar on the upcoming X-Men film, Days of Future Past. This is what Millar had to say:

[Matthew] Vaughn is going for a big sci-fi style thing with X-Men: Days of Future Past....(it's) X-Men meets The Terminator. You've got robots, you've got time travel, you've got superheroes - it's got everything in one film. He also said that it is "no spoiler on [his] part" to say that the film goes into an apocalyptic future. Cost-wise it's going to go up, and ambitious-wise it's gone up. But Vaughn can handle it. Vaughn made Kick-Ass for $28 million."

There's no mention of what superheroes we'll see or which time periods that the time-travel aspect will focus on, so it's pretty much anyone's guess at this point if anyone like Patrick Stewart or Famke Janssen will show up from the original "X-Men" films for the new one, as previously reported. That said, I'm sure we'll see Wolverine involved at some point, since he's been in every X-Men film so far, down to his cameo in "First Class". What do you guys think of the news?
