Domestic Weekly Sales For Blu-ray And DVD: Week Ending June 17th
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows earns a staggering $63,419,692.00 in its opening week of availability on DVD and Blu-Ray. Plus, updates on Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and John Carter.

In its first week out on Blu-ray and DVD, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows sold a staggering combined total of 3,288,850 units for a combined gross of $63,419,692.00. That's more than what some films gross at the box office all together. Coming in second was Act of Valor followed by Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, which also made its debut. Johnny Blaze had a combined DVD and Blu-ray gross of $12,969,233 on the strength of 703,142 units sold. Safe House took fourth place followed by John Carter in fifth. The Barsoom epic was in its second week of release and following a number 1 debut added $9,223,921 boosting its sales gross to $39,116,025.

In terms of ranking for Week of Jun 17-23, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows remained in the number one spot, followed by Project X, Act of Valor, Big Miracle, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Safe House and John Carter, respectively. Expect exact sales figures to be released some time next week.
