Those numbers help, when you consider blurays/dvd new releases are sold at anywhere from 19.99 - 25ish. So yeah, will help to put up big numbers.

Spirit of Vengeance was a crap movie...never should have been made. I like Nic Cage and enjoyed the first one, but this movie was as bad as most B-movies. I watched it and wished that I hadn't -__-

Ghost Rider 2 was so damn bad. The first one was bad but it was at a least a somewhat respectable action movie. The second one was as bad as a B-movie you find buried in Netflix. I don't understand how anyone thought the second one would work.

I didn't see it in theaters, but if I had I probably would of walked out it was so bad.

I was so looking forward to see if Ghost Rider failed in DVD sales as much as it did at the box office. So much for Marvel having a perfect year.

I am one of the many who purchased the awesomeness that is Sherlock Holmes. I can't get enough of RDJ and the great Sherlock! Plus the Blu-ray's special features are damn good!

Spirit of Vengeance was an abomination. Whoever liked that movie has mental issues. I couldn't even watch the whole thing. I went to see Journey 2, instead. And believe me, [that's] saying something right there..

Gotta agree with jollem, sure it's a b movie, but it's fun and entertaining. How can you be a movie fan and not like "b" movies?

I'm sorry, but it's just a horrible movie.lol That & Punisher: War Zone are horrible CBMs. Those filmmakers could've done so much more & better. The only thing I liked about SOV was Idris Elba(he did a good job & he was the only good character in that film to me), the last action scene wasn't to bad, and the Danny kid wasn't Danny Ketch(despite that his name kept coming up in interviews, thank goodness).

For the sequel(even though it got some of the worst reviews, it made a little more than 2 times that Sony spent for the film, and to Sony, that's ok with them) They should focus on the Danny Ketch incarnation(that's the one that got me interested in Ghost Rider) but I prefer that Marvel Studios got the rights back & did it themselves.

I got to say Ghost Rider 2 made Ghost rider 1 unwatchable for me, because it's that much better. When I first saw the trailers I thought it was an abomination. But then I saw it on dvd, with low expectations, and I had a blast. It's a fun movie. Spirit of Vengeance is a ham and cheese sandwich delivered by the guys who made the crank movies. It got rid of all the bad parts of the first one. The only good part of the first was Sam Elliot. The romance was prequel levels bad, gone. Ghost Rider 2 is the Crank/Drive Angry of comic book movies. Expect anything else and yeah you'll be disappointed.

Spirit of Vengeance is not a "fun" movie. Id rather sit through the shitfest Piranha 3DD another 5 times before seeing the complete [frick] up that was Ghost Rider 2 again.

Is John carter good? I'm kind of a blu ray buff and love films that really show off the power of my ps3 and HDTV but at the same time I don't want mindless nonsense like transformers

Each to his own. I'm pretty sure that you guys like something that I think is shlock. For me, I was entertained and had a blast. The funny thing is, I wanted to hate it.

As for John Carter, I enjoyed it. It felt like Dune meets Conan. I would rent it first if your on the fence.
