Different Title Cards And Music Make A BIG Difference To The ANT-MAN Trailer

Some have found fault with the first trailer for Ant-Man due to its pretty serious tone, but now someone has edited the teaser so that we get some bold new title cards and a different tune for the preview's final moments. Surprisingly, the difference it makes is pretty HUGE!

The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man.” Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Starring Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Judy Greer, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, John Slattery, and Hayley Atwell, Ant-Man is set to be released on July 17th, 2015.

Serious? Try uninspired, tired, and cliched.

This version is much better. Loved the music selection

I liked it. Ant-Man is going to have a tough time getting families in the theater because it's sandwiched between Minions on the 10th and then Pixels and Pan on the 24th.

The teaser took itself way too seriously. This music fits the teaser much more.

I might be in the minority here, but I loved the trailer. This might be my favorite Marvel movie to date.

Eh. Maybe if the music was light the whole way through it'd be better. Having it suddenly change makes it feel super off.

I liked the original trailer. It gives me the feeling that Ant-Man will be less about saving the world and more about Hank and Scott saving themselves.

I like the original, especially for a teaser.

I see what the editor was trying to do but I didn't like the music either, it was more upbeat....

This feels like a trailer that's put out after the movie performs really well.... Like yeah!! Let's play some happy generic Rock music because we're selling tickets

@Reasonnnn

The majority of the ppl that werent into the Ant Man trailer were commenting more on its editing. Not the tone

and after watching the new trailer...wow, it's not a comedy people, get over it. Will it have comedy in it...sure, I can't think of a marvel movie that hasn't made me laugh, but it's obviously not a comedy.

Nah, the first was better. You can't knock that score you heard in the background as soon as Lang shrunk in his shower. If it was directed by edgar wright then this tone would've been kept in the beginning. I could feel where the different music helped the trailer but it seemed as if it was wedged in and therefore it left the tone split. If the trailer was longer the music would've blended in perfectly but it was just cut too short for me.

@Sortis

Thank You, there WILL be humor in Marvel films but this film is said to be the most emotional. The first trailer captured that perfectly.

@ClobberPot Haha touche. Really excited about the heist element to this film though. I'm sure we'll see it in future trailers.
