Paul Plowman (of ukonscreen.com) has once again been in touch with some great pictures and information about the upcoming Marvel Studios movie which is currently filming here in the UK! Firstly, we start off with two brilliant panoramic shots taken from both ends of the street that has been transformed into 1940's New York over the past week.

And here are a few more pictures of the stores that have been put together there as well as our first look at a tattoo palour and more of the pharmacy interior.

To go along with the great pictures that DCMarvelFreshman found of the cars earlier are these. Interestingly, Paul pointed out that: "...one of these needed pushing, so I assume it's a static car."

"I noticed a new off-set area had lots of trailers on it, which appeared to have character names on the doors - I could only get close enough to take pics of three doors, but there were a load more," Paul told me. Could these be the trailers that the movies' stars will be staying in? I've asked around and apparently it's common for codenames like these to be used when filming takes place in a fairly public area!

Once again, I'd like to thank Paul for these excellent pictures from the Captain America set! With filming due to start on the explosive car chase in the next few days, hopefully him and our other Manchester locals will continue supplying us with more great photos!

Captain America: The First Avenger will be released on July 22, 2011!
