Impressive CAPTAIN MARVEL Fan-Art Sees VIKINGS Star Katheryn Winnick In Title Role

We may not yet know who is on Marvel Studios' radar to star in its first female-led movie, Captain Marvel, but one fan has suggested actress Katheryn Winnick with quite an impressive visualization.

Though the superheroine has been heavily rumored to appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron next year, it may be a while before we find out who is in contention to play Carol Danvers in the recently-announced Captain Marvel movie. Especially considering Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has declared that a writer and director will likely be attached to the 2018 adaptation before a leading actress would. However, that hasn't stopped fan suggestions as one Reddit user, Jamce, has imagined Vikings star Katheryn Winnick in the titular role with a realistic movie banner; which utilizes the official Captain Marvel title treatment. Many have also suggested that Winnick would make a great female Thor, if Marvel Studios was to ever genderswap Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder like recently in the Marvel Comics. In response to that fan-casting, the Canadian actress said, "I would love to, are you kidding me? I would absolutely love to play her, so yeah, let's do it!" So, perhaps she'd have the same enthusiasm to play Carol Danvers... What do you think?
