FusedFilm has come across an interesting set of news, which would debunk the rumors that "Captain America: The First Avenger" began filming on June 28, 2010, and it seems that the real start date for filming if not until July 15, 2010. Still, it is only five days away!

FusedFilm got the scoop from a reader of theres who sent them pics of "The Studio System", which is said to be the industry's leading film and television database.

As you can see as well, filming is expected to end August 28, 2010.

Also, even more exciting is that they sent in a screenshot showcasing when the Spider-Man reboot is set to start filming!

So could the Spider-Man reboot take place in the winter? It sure looks like a possibility, and a potentially cool when at that!

"Captain America: The First Avenger" will be released on July 22, 2011, and "Spider-Man" will be released on July 3, 2012.

For quite some time they have said that this Spidey is going to be Parker in high school dealing with his powers and it won't be as focused on villains.

Yeah, he has to first defeat puberty like a true superhero. Save the cheerleader, save the world!

That synopsis just sounds like the first half of Raimi's Spider-Man.

I really doubt that the Cap info is accurate. Just over a month to film the whole thing? Yeah, okay, sure. I'm taking this with a grain of salt.

I think I liked the first spider-man movie only because it finally got to the big screen. I realy did not like to much about it. Sam's take on it just sucked for me. The look should have been more like the comic. Spider-man's costume sucked, and what was up with the organic web-shooters? I know Sam said he did it becaues he did not think the movie goers would belive that a high school kid could build web-shooters. So dose that mean we cant belive a kid could build web-shooters, but we can belive that same kid can crawl up walls? Stay true to the comic.

I bet that 6 week Cap timeframe is for 1 location, may be a US location prior to moving abroad

I dont see either of these movies filming this quickly! They might squeeze Spider-Man in about 2 months but my guess that the 6 weeks for Captain America refers to how long they'll be in the UK or something! There's no way in my opinion that a movie of that scale could be filmed that fast! At least not properly...sigh, now I'm back to worrying whether Joe Johnston is the right guy for the job!!! :P

6 weeks is plenty of time, everyone. They will have at least 3 different crews on different locations at the same time. A lot of the action sequences are gonna be finished in post production as well. a month and a half of principle photography followed by 10 months of post production. we are talking anywhere from 10-18 hours of shooting per day, 6 days a week, that's 600 hours of work by one crew in order to get 2 hours of footage right and ready for post production.

also, these are highly efficent hollywood crews that know what they are doing. This isn't a goverment job ;0)

and a lot of actors contracts only allow for 4-8 weeks of shooting anyways.

I'm more interested in Spider-Man shooting in the winter. does that mean its all gonna be shot on a sound stage, or are they using the weather in the story?
